Sharon Poppen

Member, WNEA Author & Novel Writer

Sharon Poppen resides in Lake Havasu City, AZ after retiring from a career in telecommunications.


She was born in Chicago, IL and over the years has resided in Albuquerque, NM, Simi Valley, CA, and Livermore, CA. She is the mother of two children, three step-children and five grandchildren.


She is a graduate of URL, the University of Real Life. Sharon is also a graduate of Mohave Community College, earning an English degree.

Sharon is a member of Lake Havasu City Writer’s Group and has won awards from the Arizona Authors Assoc. and the National League of American Pen Women.


Her novels are available in print and e-book from Amazon Books and from her website (www.sharonpoppen.com). Her short stories and poetry have appeared in such publications as A Flasher’s Dozen, Desert Treasures, Skive, Offerings from the Oasis, A Long Story Short, Apollo Lyre and Laughter Loaf.
